Due:

Short Autobiography in Google Classroom

Short Autobiography

The Google Doc below describes the specific directions for writing your short autobiography. It should be 3-4 paragraphs total. Each paragraph is described in detail below. Remember to choose memories of objects, events, activities, people, etc. that are important to you. That will make writing your essay much more fun!
If you have any questions, you may Chat or Hangout with me today or tomorrow. We will meet tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8:45, and we can discuss your essays then, too. BE SURE YOU BEGIN WRITING TODAY SO THAT YOU CAN ASK ANY NEEDED QUESTIONS BY TOMORROW MORNING!!

I am excited to read your essays and learn even more about you!

Due:

Slide About You for Your Autobiography in Google Classroom

Slide About You for Your Autobiography

On a Google Slide or two, create an informative slide of pictures of you doing your favorite things, being with your favorite pets and family and friends, and showing you with your favorite toy of object from early childhood. You may also include any school memories that you have pictures for or short, written explanations about. Think of these slides (or a singe slide) as a chance to share visually the elements that make up who you are today and the important things along the way so far. Feel free to include something from our recent isolation during this pandemic, which is certainly an unprecedented experience for young people.

PLEASE READ THE MESSAGE BELOW BEFORE YOU START.

Since we are reviewing, I want you to review nouns first. In an assignment you might have done before I was your teacher, you are asked to practice small amounts from each noun unit at the beginning of our Language book. Each set of questions tells you which unit it is assessing, so you can go back and review anything that is not clear to you.

This assignment will take you a couple of days to complete. I also think it would be a good lesson for us to go over as a class, in a Zoom meeting. If I can host one today at 1:15, I will let you know.

I want you to begin this assignment and do your best. Go back to each lesson if you need to. Most of you will need to, just to remind yourself of names and rules. This is a good Noun Review.
