Saint Joseph The Worker School First Grade Class of 2028

Hello and thank you for allowing me to be your child's teacher for the 2020-21 school year!!
My name is Lindsey Rosete and I am the First Grade Teacher here at St. Joseph the Worker School!
I was raised in Ventura County but moved to The Valley when I was hired to work at the California Highway Patrol office in Woodland Hills.  I attended Mass at SJW Church and am now also a parishioner at St. Peter Claver Parish in Simi Valley. Now, I am back living in Simi Valley with my husband, stepdaughter and son along with our two dogs, our bearded dragon, our California King Snake, two box tortoises and two sulcata tortoises.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in Non-profit leadership from CSU Channel Islands in 2016.  While in school, I worked as a nanny for many years and developed a great appreciation for young minds.  I have a large interest in community outreach and service learning so don't be surprised if your student is learning about the world and how to help (even as a little person).  I love learning and believe that school and teaching is my calling.  I recently earned by Master's degree in Education from Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles, and plan to complete my credential this coming Fall.
This is my fourth year at SJW as a teacher.  I love our school as it is an extension of my own family. It truly is one big Knight family. I look forward to learning more about all of you!
Please email me if you have any questions about the supplies or the first days of school or just to say "Hello!".
