About Ms. Vercillo

It all adds up in Ms. Vercillo's class.  Ms. Vercillo primarily serves as the Junior High Mathematics Department teacher.  Having graduated Summa Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, Ms. Vercillo has a strong background in both science and mathematics. Additionally, Ms. Vercillo holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  


Ms. Vercillo has a strong love of learning and discovering new things. Her primary goal is to actively engage students in the learning process, inspiring and instilling a firm foundation of knowledge from which students can become independent mathematical thinkers, capable of approaching, reasoning through, and solving problems on their own.


Ms. Vercillo also serves as the school Librarian and Computer Teacher where she works to expand and complement classroom learning by empowering students to be effective users of technological tools and information to further enrich their learning while also encouraging them to creatively explore and pursue more individualized interests and inquiry.
