About Ms. Guilbault
My name is Ms. Guilbault, but many of the students at SJW call me Ms. G. I have been teaching at St. Joseph the Worker School for fifteen years, and I was a student here from kindergarten through eighth grade. I have spent more than half of my life at SJW! After graduating from St. Joseph the Worker, I attended Bishop Alemany High School. From there, I went to St. Mary's College of California for my undergraduate studies, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English. I have a Masters in Education, as well as a California Teaching Credential, from Loyola Marymount University. My nineteen years Catholic education helped shape me into the person I am today, and I believe strongly in the benefits of such an education. This holds especially true for St. Joseph the Worker School, which has been such a large part of my life! In my fifteen years at SJW, I have worn many hats. I have always taught the fourth graders, but I was also sixth grade homeroom teacher for a year. I taught junior high math for a few years (while also teaching fourth grade in the afternoons!) During my time at St. Joseph the Worker School, I have also been the Student Council moderator. Currently, I am the Dean of Discipline for primary and intermediate grades, and I am the WASC coordinator.
