About Mrs. Gallardo

Hello, my name is Zarina Gallardo. I am the third-grade teacher at Saint Joseph the Worker School. This is my fourth year at SJW and my sixth year teaching.  I am proud to call SJW my home. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach their academic goals. I attended California State University, Northridge, where I obtained a BA in Liberal Studies. I graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University, where I earned a MS in Education along with my credentials. I have served as the  Theater Club and Comic Book Club advisor (respectively), the Catholic Math League Coordinator, and the Community Outreach Coordinator. I am currently the God Squad Coordinator.

I am excited to be part of an incredible team of educators who strive for an excellent educational experience for all of our students. I am committed to helping all of my students succeed and grow.  When I’m not teaching I, alongside my husband, mentor and lead a youth group and enjoy helping out in our community.
