SJW Moves To Distance Learning Due To COVID-19 Pandemic

Over the course of these past few days, the teachers and staff began planning for the possibility of distance learning and/or online learning program in the near future.  Policies and procedures are being developed and will continue for the next two weeks.  We will reach out to you on Monday through email to let you know how we will proceed for each grade level (Primary TK-2, Intermediate 3-5, and Junior High 6-8).  Your children will be instructed as to the teacher's expectations in the form of a Level Syllabus, which will be finalized on Monday.

Please Note: This is not a vacation from school.  Rather, the purpose is for students and families to practice social distancing in order to slow the spread of the coronavirus.  Learning will continue and the teachers will be available through email during the following “office hours”:

Today, some teachers sent home materials, while other teachers will have supplies ready on Monday.  If there are materials that your children did not receive because they were absent today, they can be picked up from the school office on Monday between the hours of 2-4pm or on Tuesday between 9am-2pm.

Our school is lucky to have earned a C3 Sprint grant for iPads for our families that need help with online access.  Please complete the survey below to help with iPad distribution.

We know this is not an ideal situation and it may be a stressful time for families.  The situation is also very fluid so we will be updating you to the situation as things change in the next couple of days.

We pray for the Holy Spirit to guide us through this difficult time.
