MR. KRUSKA PICKED TO TRAVEL TO NORTHERN IRELAND

Dear SJW School Families,

I have had the opportunity as the principal of St. Joseph the Worker School to be a part of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Delegation to Northern Ireland. Along with members of 11 other Catholic schools, the Department of Catholic Schools, and Loyola Marymount University, we will be travelling to Northern Ireland this March on a professional development tour. We will be partnering with local Catholic schools in the area and Queens University to learn more about how successful schools operate in Northern Ireland, specifically in the area of inclusions, shared resources, and Catholic identity. Our group has been meeting since fall of 2019 in preparation for the trip. In addition to this trip, we have made a commitment to create innovative and impactful implementation plans in our schools based on our findings and experiences.

This is such a wonderful opportunity for our school community and we want you all to be a part of the experience! Our Northern Ireland Delegation currently has a website and an Instagram page. We will be highlighting the members of our team, showing our process, and of course, sharing our time and experience in Northern Ireland!
