- Holy Optimism Practiced Everyday - Let it be known to all who enter St. Joseph the Worker School that Jesus Christ is the reason for our school, the unseen but ever-present teacher in all its classes, the model of its faculty, and the inspiration for its staff and students. WELCOME TO THE FAMILY - MRS. CINNEY

Today is an exciting day! We welcome Mrs. Nancy Cinney to our SJW Family as our new 6th Grade Homeroom and Junior High Literature teacher. Her early retirement was short because she missed the teaching. (We are very lucky!) She comes to us with many years experience as a versatile and dynamic teacher committed to inspiring students to love knowledge and learning, recognize their relevance, take responsibility for their own learning, and develop critical, innovative thinking while mastering standards. Mrs. Cinney has fourteen years of full-time junior high experience, including twelve years teaching an Accelerated Literature program that prepared students for AP courses in high school. She is currently working at a doctoral level education and university teaching in Shakespeare, Renaissance English literature, and the teaching of writing. She is committed to Catholic education and promotes a genuinely Christian environment, with a focus on developing and modeling Christian values. We are very blessed (and lucky) to have Mrs. Cinney join our SJW Family.
