WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA:
We are happy to announce that St. Joseph The Worker School has chosen to support Wreaths Across America participating location Simi Valley, CA as part of the national organization’s Group Sponsorship Program.
This is the FIRST year that St. Joseph the Worker School will participate in the national program whose mission is to Remember the fallen, Honor those who served, and Teach the next generation the value of FREEDOM.
Our Goal at SJW is to provide at least 250 wreaths.
Wreaths may be ordered through November 29th! If we fulfill our goal at the Simi Cemetery, our extra wreaths will be shared at other Veteran Cemeteries.
For every $15 wreath sponsorship we raise to support this cause, Wreaths across America will return $5 to our School. Funds will go towards our PTO Fundraising efforts for School Textbooks
The goal for SJW is to support efforts that help unify our community and celebrate our freedom by thanking the 440 veterans laid to rest at Simi Valley Public Cemetery (CASIMI) with the placement of a live, Balsam Veteran’s Wreath this December. Should we exceed our goal, any additional wreaths will be placed at other Veteran Cemetery sites.
To show our appreciation, students who show a copy of receipt will have a RED/WHITE/BLUE FREE DRESS day on Monday December 19th.
