General Information
 All morning sessions run from July 5th through July 27th , Monday through Thursday.
NOTE: NO SCHOOL Monday, July 3rd and Tuesday, July 4th for the holiday.

AM Learning Labs 8:00am - 11:00am
Summer Knights Learning Labs​ build on what students learn during the regular school year. These labs help students master skills necessary for academic success, including note-taking, close reading, active listening, and active reading.
 
Entering K - 2nd grade - TINY KNIGHTS
 
  • Tiny Knights Morning Session (8:00-11:00am)
    • This is fun a course that is constantly moving! Tiny Knights is for those students going into kindergarten through second grade. We will be doing a little bit of everything: math, reading, writing, dancing, and art projects. Math, reading, and writing will prepare these tiny Knights for the upcoming school year.
 
Entering 3rd - 5th grade - BLUE KNIGHTS
 
  • This course is for children in grades three through five for the 2023-2024 school year. Students will experience learning opportunities in language arts and math focused on strengthening key foundational skills and preparing students for the next grade level. Session 1 is the ELA morning session, which focuses on becoming a better reader and writer, honing students reading comprehension and writing skills. Session 2 is the math morning lab session. Here, students will practice computational and word problem skills across the math topics. 
 
Entering 6th - 8th grade - RED KNIGHTS 

 

  • This course is for children in grades six through eight for the 2023-2024 school year. Students will experience learning opportunities in language arts and math focused on strengthening key foundational skills and preparing students for the next grade level. There are two sessions. The first session is the ELA morning session, focusing on reading comprehension and writing skills. After recess is the math session, where students will focus on key topics necessary for success in junior high.

 
PM Enrichment Electives ​12:00pm-3:00pm
 
Enrichment courses are offered in areas such as art, science, cooking, and technology, along with sports and fitness classes.
 
Tiny Knights Afternoon Session

The afternoon session of Tiny Knights lets the children experience various forms of play. From building blocks to Legos, art projects to outdoor games, Tiny Knights will learn social skills while having fun. Students will explore the outdoors, experiment with taste-safe sensory activities, engage in simple cooking tasks, play, and  create in this afternoon enrichment program.

Grades 3-8 Afternoon Enrichment

Session A (choose one class) 12:00-1:30 pm

STEM (grades 3-8)

Students will engage in STEM activities using a variety of materials, including LEGO, K’nex, and recycled materials.

 

Session B (choose one class) 1:30-3:00 pm

Instrumental Ukelele (grades 3-8)

Students will learn the basics of playing the ukelele, including reading music and correct finger positions. They will be playing simple songs by the end of the course!
