Family Enrollment Requirements

  • Student Registration Fee:
    • $600 per student non-refundable (Textbooks, testing materials, technology, etc.)    
 
  • New Student Testing Fee:
    • $50 non-refundable testing fee new students  
 
  • Graduation Fees:  $200 (Caps, Gowns, CJSF Cords, Awards, etc.; Does not include dinner dance or legacy project) 
 
  • Support of School Philosophy and Programs:
    • Read and adhere to SJW Parent Handbook
    • Attend Mass with your child(ren) each weekend
    • Attend Holy Days of Obligation with your child(ren)
    • Encourage your child(ren) to learn by providing an environment suitable for home study
    • Attend mandatory school events, not limited to and including Back to School Night, Parent Teacher Conferences, Catholic Schools Week Mass, Speaker Lectures, PTO meetings, Open House, and other events as required
 
  • Service Hours:
    • Transitional Kindergarten – 8th grade: 40 hours per family - $25 per hour unfulfilled billed in May
    • Half of the required 40 hours may be served through service to the Parish - WITH Administration permission
    • TK-12 Catholic High School Credit:  20 Service Hour Credit with proof of yearly enrollment ($500 value!)
 
  • Fundraising:
    • Fundraising:
      • Transitional Kindergarten – 8th grade: $400 profit fundraising sales first child; Plus $100 second child; Plus $100 third child
      •  Unfulfilled fundraising obligation will be billed in May.
 
  • Classroom Projects and Events:
    • Contribute minimum $25 to Class Silent Auction Basket(s) and either $20 cash or materials for Class Silent Art Auction item (as determined by teacher)
 
  • Late Charge:
    • $25 charge if tuition is not paid by the 5th of each month or agreed upon alternate due date. Prior approval by Principal is required for alternate due date.
 
 
  • Returned Checks:
    • Returned check amount to be paid by cash, money order or cashier check ONLY, PLUS $25 charge per returned check---payable by cash, money order or cashier check ONLY 
 
  • School Student Non-Discrimination Policy:  The school, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students regardless of race, color or national and/or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
    • `The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, disability, sex or national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs, although certain athletic leagues and other programs may limit participation and some archdiocesan schools operate as single sex schools.
    • While the school does not discriminant against students with special needs, a full range of services may not always be available to them.  Decisions concerning the admission and continued enrollment of a student in the school are based upon the student's emotional, academic and physical abilities and the resources available to the school in meeting the student's needs.
